{craft} rainbow ribbon rings

June 27th, 2013|Categories: crafts|Tags: , , , |6 Comments

We made some ribbon rings a couple of weeks ago and my kids have been loving them! I just used random ribbon I had in our wrapping box but I decided to make them some rainbow coloured ones as who doesn’t love all those gorgeous colours all together? These are very easy to make, and super fun to play with. I bought these wooden curtain rings at Masters, about $6 for the pack of 5.And some pretty coloured ribbon from the discount shop :o}The curtain rings have these little hooks attached, but they are very […]

Hi everyone! We have been having some fun with weather themed crafts and activities lately! It’s been great as we’ve had some rainy days, some sunny days, some windy ones and even some very foggy mornings so we’ve had plenty of opportunity to talk weather around here! One of our first weather themed activities was to make some paper plate umbrellas! You will need:Paper platePop sticksvarious bits and pieces to decorate your umbrella withglue + paint brushFirst you cut a little bit out of the bottom of your paper plate so it’s more umbrella shaped.I spent a […]

our playful week

June 24th, 2013|Categories: crafts|Tags: , , , , , , |4 Comments

Hi everyone!Whoops! My plan to have this as a weekly post certainly hasn’t worked has it!!? I can honestly not believe how the weeks are just flying by, with a little under 2 months before this baby arrives I am almost in panic mode. I have a lot of things on my ‘before baby to do list’ that I haven’t gotten to yet, plus a lot of obligations for the blog that I said yes to {some months and months ago} that I am still trying to get through. I know it’s been a bit […]

Target Toy Sale – win a voucher!

June 21st, 2013|Categories: A Little Delightful|Tags: |72 Comments

I LOVE being super organised for Christmas but over the past couple of years I’ve changed my buying style a little from buying through the year and storing the gifts to waiting until a couple of months before Christmas to buy and instead making a list of gift ideas through the year. I haven’t been to a big toy sale in a couple of years but have my eye on a few things this year – whether I’ll stash them away for Christmas or not I’m not sure, but I know either way our family […]

{review + giveaway} Betts Kids Shoes

June 20th, 2013|Categories: A Little Delightful|Tags: |122 Comments

When Betts Kids asked me to try out some shoes with my kiddos it wasn’t very hard to say yes. We are already big fans of Betts Kids Shoes and they have been our go to for quality, properly fitted shoes for both the kiddos for years now. Although my kids own a couple pairs each of other shoes, their main wearing shoes are usually always from Betts Kids as I know they will last and provide them with the proper support they need when their little feet are growing and developing. Ok who […]

{printable} Tooth Fairy Receipts and Childhood Tooth Record

June 17th, 2013|Categories: printables|Tags: , , , |28 Comments

Happy Monday everyone! As promised, here are my Tooth Fairy printables. We recently reached this awesome childhood milestone and Noah pretty much burst when I picked him up from school and he had a big gap where there once was a tooth! I was a little sad I wasn’t there to witness the joy of him realising his tooth had *finally* fallen out and the tooth fairy would be visiting, but I thought – that’s ok – next time.Well, next time was much sooner than I thought it was going to be! Just two weeks […]

cozy-ing up for winter with Target + a giveaway!

June 14th, 2013|Categories: A Little Delightful|Tags: , , |74 Comments

This post is brought to you by Target. It has really started to get cold around here! I must admit I love the colder weather and would much prefer to rug up and add extra layers than swelter through another super hot day. Winter at our house means lots of snuggles with blankets and movie nights and hot chocolates and early morning read-a-thons in Mum + Dad’s bed.I bought a great quality Target 1000 thread count sheet set when we first bought our king size bed years ago and they have lasted and lasted, definitely […]

Oh how I wish I was still relaxing down south! It was such a gorgeous weekend and I’ve been enjoying reliving it a little through our photos! On the saturday we had a little bit of a late start, then decided to head into Maragret River but on the drive from Yallingup down to Margs we decided to stop somewhere for an early lunch. So many people had recommended the Cheeky Monkey Brewery so we decided to make that our lunch spot and we were SO glad we did!We loved this place as soon as […]
