January 20th, 2014|Categories: printables|Tags: , |0 Comments

G’day everyone! If you’ve been around a while you’ll recognise the koala printable toppers in red and blue, but since sharing those a few years ago I have been asked quite a few times if I’d consider a green and gold printable. As so many of you requested a green and gold version, here it is!! 🙂

I used a circle scalloped punch to cut my toppers out but you could leave them square or just cut a circle – it’s up to you! I have used them just square as a topper for lollipops or as […]

a few of my favourite {baby} things

January 15th, 2014|Categories: Uncategorized|Tags: , |1 Comment

Hi everyone!I am often asked what I am loving in terms of baby products this time around and so thought I’d share my top 5-6 with you every few months. Here is the first instalment that covers a few things we are loving in the first few months of Owen’s life. In addition to these things, we are also still absolutely loving our video baby monitor which is a Uniden Baby Watch and I couldn’t live without our capsule/infant carrier for the car and pram. This is the first time I’ve had one for one […]

create packs : encouraging open ended creativity

January 15th, 2014|Categories: crafts|Tags: , |16 Comments

You would already know my kids like to craft from much of the content that is shared here on the blog. You’ll know that I do, too. And although things have been really busy lately with a new baby and Christmas and holidays visiting family, we are still crafting most days, though a little differently. As much as we love and continue to make things that have an ‘end result’ to achieve, such as rocks that look like bugs or paper plates that look like koalas, we are big big big on open ended creating […]

{printable} number flashcards

January 14th, 2014|Categories: printables|Tags: , , |6 Comments

A while ago I created these number flash cards for Chloe as she was obsessed with numbers and counting. Apparently I have forgotten to share them with you! We use them much like our colour cards which you can also download from the blog. They are great to use as just a flash card, but you can also use them with little counters or beads as well as little balls of playdough that your kiddo rolls themselves for an awesome fine motor activity! They are photo sized and I printed them at Big W to save ink […]

hello 2014!

January 9th, 2014|Categories: Uncategorized|Tags: , |6 Comments

Anyone else feel like last year just disappeared?I’ve been enjoying some time out while on holiday and have spent some time thinking about last year and about this brand new shiny year ahead. My 2013 flew by in a kind of blur. I spent so much of it utterly exhausted and I was only just surviving and trying to get through to the end of the day. I didn’t drive further than 15 minutes from my house as I was terrified I would fall asleep at the wheel – I was so tired. Yet I couldn’t […]
