There are a number of benefits of drinking apple cider vinegar and eating spirulina. Most people have never even heard of spirulina more or less know about its health benefits. The more you learn about different types of food, the better you will be able to cook for you and your family to create healthy meals. Keep reading to learn more about these two ingredients and possible meals.
Apple Cider Vinegar
How much apple cider vinegar for kidney stones is needed varies depending on the severity, size, and how long in existence a kidney stone actually is. That being said, a kidney stone can be easily dissolved by consuming apple cider vinegar on a daily basis. Apple cider vinegar works to reduce and dissolve kidney stones by helping to flush out the body from dangerous excess toxins, including the minerals that form into kidney stones. The high acidity level of apple cider vinegar actually helps to break down the hard tissues that make up the kidney stone, making it easier to pass (if it is large) or eliminating it completely by dissolving it in the case of smaller stones.
The key in using apple cider vinegar to treat kidney stones is consistency. You should take apple cider vinegar every day with lots of water until the stone is completely dissolved, or the pain from the kidney stone (and accompanying issues while urinating) goes away completely.
A common rule of thumb for consuming apple cider vinegar is to drink 2 tablespoons of it once a day in an 8-ounce glass of water, and consuming ample amounts of water throughout the day to help flush out the kidneys. Apple cider vinegar and kidney stones relief should become prevalent within 24 to 48 hours when taken correctly, and bring relief to kidney stone sufferers quickly.
Spirulina
There are many benefits of spirulina. When choosing Spirulina, make sure to choose one that is organic, as others can be contaminated or have nitrate compounds as additives. The one I’m currently using can be purchased here and it is also the cheapest organic Spirulina I’ve seen.
It does taste like pond water though, so many people prefer supplements like this high quality spirulina capsule.
I add Spirulina to my veggie smoothies each day and take extra during pregnancy. It is best to get in about 2 teaspoons per day, and 2 or more tablespoons during illness, after radiation exposure, or during pregnancy. It does taste horrible though!
You can also mix into water and drink straight, though many people have trouble with this. The phosphorous makes it useful for the tooth demineralizing regimen, and it is best taken with an Omega-3 source like fermented cod liver oil. Its anti-inflammatory properties have been helpful to some with joint pain or other types of inflammation.
